THE PROBLEM 03
You shot them. They say you missed. The game stops.
Everyone's lived it — backyard blasters, home laser tag, driveway Nerf wars. No one can prove who got hit, so it ends in an argument. And every alternative makes you compromise:
- Laser tag — needs an arena, and you wear the vest.
- Airsoft — hurts, costs a lot, and needs a controlled field.
- Paintball — welts, mess, and a pricey dedicated field.
- Gel blasters — messy, and still can't tell who got hit.
- Nerf & blasters — no way to confirm a hit.
Why now: every phone is a camera + screen that supports advanced computer vision. On-device, it can finally confirm a hit on a person — with nothing worn by the target.

01 · Stack
Five hardware gens, firmware, and on-device Vision already running together. The hard part is the integration.

No vests, no IR arena, no base stations. The phone is the sensor and the scoreboard.

- US: sell nationwide. New York restricts replica-style products; California requires warning labels.
- Canada: consumer sale gated on counsel’s replica classification — in review, not a surprise.
- Institutional / defense: sits outside consumer replica rules. Same hardware, different channel.
US path is mapped. Canada is a counsel gate, not an unscoped risk.

Solo, self-taught, no engineering team — Andy built five working hardware generations, the firmware, the iOS app, and on-device hit detection in four months. TracerTech Inc. (Canada), incorporated May 2026.
Product design, enclosure, embedded hardware, firmware, Apple Vision, UX, field testing, and provisionals — all in-house.
This raise is not a ten-person team. It funds the first specialist so the next 25 units are not a one-person bottleneck.

TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE

Why now — enabling tech
Silicon shrank: a camera (OV5640) + Wi-Fi MCU (ESP32-S3 / Seeed XIAO) is now thumbnail-sized, a few dollars, and battery-friendly — small enough to live inside the muzzle. Vision matured: Apple's Neural Engine runs person segmentation on-device in milliseconds, no cloud, no per-match cost. Those parts are commodity — the moat is the integration: tuned CV hit-detection, a custom low-latency UDP transport over a phone hotspot, five hardware generations of firmware, and provisional patents.
